| Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 | 5:30 p.m. | Basketball Game Watch Watch the Fighting Illini play Purdue in the Assembly Hall. Game time is 5:30 pm PST. This year's event will again be hosted by Paul and Janet Beaty in their Sun City Shadow Hills home. They will feature Chicago Dogs and Chicago style pizza. There will be a charge of $10 per person for the food and drinks. Directions to Paul and Janet Beaty's home: Exit I-10 North at Jefferson Street. Cross over the freeway to the first stop at Varner Rd/Avenue 42. Turn right (east) to the first stop at Jefferson St. Turn left (north) to the first light and enter Sun City Shadow Hills by Del Webb. The guard will issue a pass with directions to their home. (Proceed 1.4 miles to the fifth stop sign at Avenida Sombra. Turn left on Sombra 0.4 mile to our street - Calle Estela. You can only turn left on Estella. |
| Saturday, March 3, 2012 | 11:30 a.m. | Annual Golf Tournament and Dinner This year's event will be held at the Rancho Mirage Country Club, 38500 Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage. Golf registration will be at 11:30 a.m. with Tee-off at noon. There will be a reception and cocktail hours starting at 5:30 p.m. with a dinner at 6:30. The golf awards will be presented after dinner. The cost of $100 includes 18 holes of golf, awards and dinner. For non-golfers, the cost of the dinner is $35. |
