The Desert Illini Club
is an organization for alumni and friends of the University of Illinois.
It serves the alumni, the University, and the Desert communities by
sponsoring a variety of sports, social, cultural and service events.
The Desert Illini Club
is a great way to renew old friendships and to make new ones. Our
membership is drawn from desert area of Southern California--from Riverside and
San Bernardino east to the Arizona border. Some of the major cities in our
region include Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta and Indio.
Membership in the club is open to alumni, their spouses, and friends of the University of Illinois. Dues are $25 per year and entitle you special mailings about our events and a discount at certain events. You can fill out the membership application on-line.

We are very happy to announce we have awarded the second scholarship from the Desert Illini Club. The $2,000 per year scholarship was awarded to Chase Boren of Fort Worth, Texas. Chase will be a sophomore on the Urbana-Champaign campus.
We're very pleased by the generous donations made by our members this past year and we need you to continue your donations so we can continue our successful scholarship program.
